Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Woolworths are now hosting their annual in-store $2 token campaign online for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS).

Woolworths will be holding the online token campaign during the 6th to the 19th of May allowing customers to consider adding a $2 donation to the Flying Doctor while they do their online shopping.

While much of the world has recently grinded to a halt, the dedicated Flying Doctor team, much like Woolworths, are continuing to provide vital services and support to communities across regional, rural and remote Queensland.

Recently, Woolworths generously donated $200,000 to assist the Flying Doctor to continue maintaining essential services across Queensland. We are incredibly grateful for our five-year partnership with Woolworths, and the support during this critical time.

All donations received from the Woolworths online token campaign will go towards helping the Flying Doctors most vulnerable patients, like Daisy.

Nothing is more fragile than a severely premature baby. When a child is born before their lungs are fully developed, when their digestive systems don’t work and their eyes are still fused shut, their grip on life can be terrifyingly weak.

Keeping premature babies safe on route to hospital would be impossible without the preterm baby emergency kits we keep stocked at every Base.Consisting of both one-use consumables like feeding tubes, as well more complex items like foetal dopplers, our preterm baby emergency kits enable us to safely transfer dozens of tiny babies every single month.

$2 donations made through the Woolworth online shopping campaign are greatly appreciated, especially by all the grateful mums and dads whose children you will help to keep safe. To donate via your Woolworths online shopping, click here.
