Australian car dealership Peter Kittle Motor Company has extended its commitment to RFDS SA/NT for another three years – its support now set to reach three decades.
Like RFDS SA/NT, Peter Kittle Motor Company was born in the heart of the outback, giving this relationship meaning that goes far beyond a modern commercial partnership.
Having grown up in Alice Springs, Peter Kittle Motor Company CEO Andrew Kittle has experienced firsthand the limitations that come with living in rural and remote communities.
“Our support of the Flying Doctor goes back to 1999, so this is a partnership that means a great deal to our family and our company,” he said.
“Having grown up in Alice Springs, we know how important the RFDS is to regional and remote communities, and we’re incredibly proud to continue our support for another three years.”
Every 10 minutes, the Flying Doctor delivers the finest care to someone living, working or travelling in rural and remote South Australia and the Northern Territory.
RFDS SA/NT Executive General Manager Strategy, Brand & Reputation Charlie Paterson said this care can’t be provided alone.
“We rely on the support of our broader community, donors and corporate partners to support our mission of supporting healthier Australians no matter where they live, work or play,” Mr Paterson said.
“We’re so grateful to have such a highly respected and valued Australian-owned business in Peter Kittle Motor Company renew their partnership for another three years.”
In recognition of the major sponsorship, a medically-equipped RFDS aircraft VH-FXZ, known as ‘Zulu’, will continue to bear the Peter Kittle Motor Company brand on its fuselage.
Over the last 12 months, Zulu has flown over 400,000 kilometres, undertaken nearly 650 flights and airlifted more than 1,000 patients across South Australia and the Northern Territory.
