At RFDS Victoria we take paying our employees – past and present – their entitlements extremely seriously.
Through RFDS Victoria’s process to build new rules for payroll that align to our new Enterprise Agreement for Victoria-based NEPT employees, we have identified some discrepancies in the past interpretation and payment of some allowances for RFDS VIC Non-Emergency Patient Transport employees and employees in related roles.
This relates specifically to:
- Shift allowance reconciliation calculation
- Overtime payments for Casual Employees
- Overtime payments for travel shifts
- Allowances for Driver’s License fees
- Incidental overtime for Nursing employees
As a result, we are taking corrective action remunerate all eligible past and present RFDS Victoria NEPT and related role employees, specifically those employed:
- Between 18 June 2018 and 17 October 2025
- As an NEPT employee rostered and paid through EMPLive; and/or
- Under the RFDS Victoria - Patient Transport Employees EBA 2021 or the RFDS Victoria Nurse Employees Enterprise Agreement 2022
We have contacted all eligible past and present employees based on the contact details we have within our systems.
