This is a hands-on role involving the design, build and maintenance of data pipelines, APIs and workflows across cloud and on-prem platforms. You will collaborate with architects, analysts, BI Specialist and business stakeholders to enable business workflows, reporting that supports decision making, contractual obligations and regulatory compliance.

Specifically, you will:

- Ensure seamless data movement from sources through the Oracle ADB (ODS) layer into the Snowflake (EDW) environment.
- Optimize Snowflake warehouse and data transformation using dbtCloud to power Tableau dashboards and reporting suites.
- Design and optimize high performance ETL/ELT pipelines using Oracle Golden Gate/Data Transforms/DLT for data ingestion and dbtCloud for modular, version-controlled transformations within Snowflake and Oracle ADB.
- Apply software development practices, including CI/CD, version control (GIT), orchestration and automated testing, to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Manage end to end lifecycle of data systems, implementing robust exception handling and enterprise monitoring (e.g. DataDog) to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.
- Ensure column level lineage and metadata management for sensitive (PHI/PII) data, including auditing and masking. Maintain end to end data lineage from source systems through to Tableau.
- Develop and document REST, GraphQL, and FHIR APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange, utilizing JSON and event-based architectures.

About You

You are:
- An outstanding communicator who can build strong respectful relationships and clearly convey technical information to diverse audiences
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively

Your application would be enhanced by a tertiary qualification in computer science or a related field.
