Many people living in WA's vast and remote regions do not have access to a regular dental service. RFDS delivers a free dental service to people faced with geographical and/or socioeconomic barriers, via our purpose-built dental van and fly-in fly-out clinics. 

We are looking for Dentists to join our team on a FIFO basis. We have options for casual vacancies and a part-time vacancy working 0.5 FTE. 

 

About the role


- Emergency, preventative and general (non-urgent) dental health care to children and adults in designated rural and remote locations within Western Australia
- Oral advice
- Referral on to other services for more complex dental treatments (denture, crowns, orthodontic)
- Fixed site and mobile dental clinics
 

About you


- Available to work FIFO for a minimum of two weeks at a time (we can be flexible with what roster you want e.g. 2:2 or 4:4)
- Registration, or the ability to be registered, with AHPRA as a Dental Practitioner
- A minimum of three/four years of postgraduate experience
- Interest in indigenous health (experience will be highly regarded)
- Commitment to patient-focused health care
- Current drivers license
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with electronic patient record systems
