About this opportunity
The Recruitment Coordinator will support the delivery of the RFDS’s recruitment activity in the Northern Territory.
Reporting to the Senior Recruiter and working closely with People & Culture Business Partner, this role plays a key part in sourcing, screening, shortlisting and coordinating candidates through end-to-end recruitment processes.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding opportunity where you will contribute directly to building strong workforce capability, supporting hiring managers, and ensuring an excellent candidate experience across multiple concurrent vacancies.
Key responsibilities
- Drafting job advertisements and position descriptions
- Publishing roles across relevant recruitment platforms
- Shortlisting and screening candidates against essential criteria
- Coordinating and scheduling interviews with hiring managers and panels
- Participating in interview processes where required
- Completing candidate reference checks and background verification
- Maintaining accurate recruitment system records and applicant tracking data
- Source and attract candidates using both traditional and non-traditional methods including LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques
- Maintain and update recruitment tracking systems and dashboards
- Supporting onboarding documentation and compliance requirements.

What you will bring
- Demonstrated experience in a recruitment or talent coordination role
- Strong candidate management and customer service capability
- Experience using a Talent Management System and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organisation, planning and time management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data management
- A proactive, solutions-focused and team-oriented approach
