This is a fantastic time to join the award-winning Fundraising & Philanthropy team at the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) as a Supporter Care Administrator. We have two exciting positions available within this team, a permanent, part- time role and a permanent, full-time role. You’ll be part of a dynamic team and play a key role in delivering exceptional donor care, supporting our well-defined fundraising growth strategy.
  
Who are we looking for?

  • Previous inbound and outbound customer service phone experience
  • Exceptional phone manner and ability to adapt communication style
  • Previous experience working in administrative role
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Previous financial or data entry experience with ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to respond to customer queries in a courteous, prompt, accurate and confident manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated and ability to meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to function effectively as a member of a team
 In this role, you will:
  • Respond to supporter enquiries via phone, mail, and email daily, ensuring a timely and high-quality experience
  • Conduct outbound thank-you calls to key supporter segments to support retention
  • Apply negotiation skills to cancellation or opt-out requests to help retain supporters
  • Process donations received via all channels (phone, mail, banking, online), including opening mail and issuing receipts, with accuracy and efficiency
  • Follow up on failed or incomplete payments and reprocess transactions as needed
  • Maintain and update supporter records in the CRM, including contact details, preferences, and relevant attributes
  • Manage community fundraising admin tasks, including issuing letters of authority, coordinating donation boxes, and follow-ups
  • Action decline management procedures for regular giving
  • Collaborate with Finance to complete end-of-month processes on time
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and supporter-centric service
  • Provide general support to help achieve Fundraising & Philanthropy team goals
