Qualifications

Essential: Tertiary qualifications in data analytics, data science or a related field

Desirable: Experience in health data management

Technical Competencies

  • Experience in maintaining a data warehouse, modelled data and cloud-based platforms
  • Experience using Tableau and similar data visualisation tools
  • Experience using Alteryx and other data extraction tools across multiple systems and databases
  • Highly developed research and analytical skills and ability to forecast trends and patterns from collected data.
  • Proven experience in interpreting data and providing advice and recommendations on appropriate courses of action.
  • Experience in the use of information management systems and databases.
  • Highly developed oral and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear concise and accurate assessments, reports and briefings in a range of forums.
  • Proven experience in problem-solving and the recommendation of effective solutions.
  • Experience using Snowflake data warehouse systems
  • Knowledge of computer software in relation to graphical software utilising mapping, graphs and tables to support reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques
  • Knowledge of data governance and cyber risk strategies

  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable presenting to senior management when required
