About the Role

As the Workforce Planner, you will ensure RFDS Victoria’s operations are resourced effectively to deliver essential services across the state. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, spotting patterns, and collaborating with leaders to turn insights into practical solutions that support both day-to-day operations and long-term planning.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Develop and maintain rosters and schedules that meet agreed service levels
- Analyse demand, historical trends, and performance data to forecast staffing needs
- Monitor attendance, leave, and training plans to ensure adequate coverage
- Build capacity and demand models to support operational and strategic planning
- Prepare dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with leaders and teams to optimise resources and improve processes

To be successful, you will need:

- Tertiary qualification/s in Business, Data Analytics, Human Resources, Health Care, Healthcare Administration or a related field (Graduate Certificate in Workforce Planning highly regarded)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach
- Proven experience in workforce planning, scheduling, or resource forecasting, ideally within healthcare or NEPT environments
- Excellent communication skills to engage with both frontline teams and senior stakeholders
- Confidence using rostering/scheduling software, time and attendance systems, and Microsoft tools
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau (desirable)
- Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a current Driver’s Licence, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia
