Proudly serving Australians since 1928, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) provides emergency aeromedical and allied health services for people in rural and remote Australia. About the Role
The Supporter Services Administrator serves as the first contact for donors, responsible for managing donation processing, merchandise orders, event registrations, and donor records. The role ensures timely and compliant gift handling, supports financial reconciliation, and provides excellent customer service via phone and email. This position is essential to the success of RFDS Victoria’s fundraising efforts through efficient administration and quality donor care.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Process donations and maintain accurate records in The Raiser’s Edge database.
- Manage merchandise orders through the Shopify platform.
- Allocate donations to designated programs, ensuring correct coding and donor intent.
- Ensure timely and compliant donation processing in line with internal policies.
- Deliver responsive and professional customer service via phone and email.
- Maintain clean and current donor data, including personal details and preferences.
- Coordinate the issuance and distribution of receipts with internal and external stakeholders.
- Reconcile data across databases, platforms, and bank accounts for consistency.
- Support financial reporting by collaborating with finance and updating TechOne.
- Ability to travel to other RFDS locations from time to time.
To be successful, you will need:
Essential:
- Experience in customer service, administration, data entry or fundraising within a professional setting.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service across phone, email, and other communication channels.
Desirable:
- A relevant qualification in Fundraising, Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience in using Raiser’s Edge (Fundraising software), Shopify and dashboard/reporting systems/tools.
- Experience in a NEPT, community health or similar operating environment.
