About this Opportunity
The RFDS is proudly supporting the PARTNER network to enable connection with local primary health care providers, in so doing growing a network of likeminded private practices across Australia who care about improving outcomes through research.
The State Coordinator role will support the network in achieving this in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
Reporting directly to the Clinical Director NT, you will coordinate the day-to-day operations of the network within SA and NT.
Specifically, you will:
- Develop and build new relationships with general practice staff such as practice managers and GPs, University staff, researchers, industry representatives to ensure strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver education and training activities to build capacity in primary care-based clinical trials, via the delivery of workshops, meetings, webinars, or self-directed learning resources.
- Support the development of processes and documentation that guide the operations of clinical trials.
- Manage the operations of the network within your state to ensure agreed milestones and outcomes are achieved within budget and set timelines.
- Develop quotes to support the conduct of new trials within the network.
- Identify leads for new primary care research-led, hospital-led, or industry-led clinical trials suitable for the PARTNER network.
- Facilitate educational and research opportunities for medical students, GP registrars or graduate research students in PARTNER supported clinical trials.
About You
You possess:
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical trial regulations, legislation, and ICH-GCP Guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, in the health care setting, with multiple stakeholder projects.
- Demonstrated high level analytical and problem-solving skills in health or related setting.
- Excellent engagement and communication skills.
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- High level computer skills.
To be considered for the role you require:
- Degree in nursing, public health, medical science, health science, health management or related discipline with subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Full and valid driver’s licence issued in an Australian state or territory.
