About the Role
Join RFDS Mobile Patient Care and make a meaningful impact by delivering compassionate, patient-first transport services for those in pre- and post-hospital care. You'll be part of a trusted team that upholds the highest standards of safety and professionalism, guided by industry regulations and RFDS values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, patient-centred care across a range of acuity levels, ensuring clinical interventions are safe, effective, and aligned with RFDS policies.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch and healthcare teams to support safe, timely patient transport and accurate handovers.
- Lead by example, mentoring junior staff and maintaining professional registration and competencies through ongoing education and accreditation.
- Uphold safety and infection control standards, ensuring vehicles and equipment are ready, and work practices meet regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, using resources efficiently, participating in quality assurance activities, and promoting incident reporting for service enhancement.
What We’re Looking For
- AHPRA Registration in Paramedicine
- Valid New South Wales Driver’s Licence
- Availability for a variety of day and afternoon shifts 7 days a week
- NEPT experience is a plus, but not essential
