About the Role

As the Regional Manager Metro, you will lead and manage services across multiple regions, combining strategic planning with hands-on leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. The role oversees compliance, budgets, and performance standards while driving innovation, growth, and continuous improvement. Working closely with the Director, you’ll foster strong stakeholder relationships and champion staff development and deliver meaningful impact.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Lead service delivery excellence by ensuring compliance with KPIs, clinical governance, regulatory standards, and continuous quality improvement.
- Drive strategic growth through research, business planning, tender management, and pursuit of new income streams and opportunities.
- Support organisational leadership by partnering with the Director to deliver strategic, operational, and change management initiatives.
- Enhance performance and capability via policy development, operational planning, budget management, and staff mentoring, succession planning, and people development.
- Foster stakeholder engagement by resolving complex client issues, building strong partnerships, and maintaining flexibility for interstate travel and after-hours escalation needs.

To be successful, you will need:

- Tertiary qualifications in Health Administration, Nursing, Paramedicine or a related field
- Minimum five years’ experience in operational or regional management, preferably within health or community services
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations
- Experience and understanding of regulatory frameworks in NEPT, community health or similar operating environment.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing business development plans that align with strategic priorities.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
- Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a current Driver’s Licence, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia
Desirable:
- Postgraduate qualification (Master’s preferred) or Graduate Certificate in Business, Management, Health, Human Resources or a related field (desirable)
