About the Role
As the People and Culture Administrator, you'll provide essential administrative support across a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and compliance. You'll help ensure our people processes run smoothly and that employees feel supported from their first day onward.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Act as a point of contact for employee and candidate inquiries and escalate as required to ensure appropriate advice given.
- Monitor the P&C inboxes and respond to general enquiries, such as recruitment, onboarding, contractual obligations, entitlements, and related organisational policies, etc.
- Under supervision, assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including but not limited to posting job ads, screening candidates, arranging interviews, pre-employment checks, onboarding, orientation, induction, etc.
To be successful, you will need:
- To be a team player, be proactive, willing to learn and have a problem-solving mindset.
- A qualification in HR or related discipline (or working towards one).
- Ability to accurately interpret and understand agreements, awards and employment legislation.
- An understanding of recruitment processes.
- To be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HR information systems (HRIS) and applicant tracking systems (ATS), including Elmo, PageUp, TechnologyOne, and/or JobAdder.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and managing shared inboxes.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a current Drivers Licence, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia.
