About this Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Operations Communication Centre Manager, as the Operations Support Officer, you will provide administrative operational support for the operations communication facility.

We believe our people – all our people – keep the Royal Flying Doctor Service flying.

Specifically, you will:
• Provide general administrative support for the Port Augusta Base including greeting clients/visitors, answer incoming calls and monitor and respond to incoming emails.
• Assist with duties as required by the operations team including meeting minutes, staff accommodation bookings and coordinating property/equipment repairs.
• Support the health administration team including coordinating medical program appointment bookings, assist with deliveries/collections to/from hospitals and monitor/manage medical-chest enquiries.
• Complete database management and record keeping duties

About You

To be considered for the role you require:
• Demonstrated experience providing reception and administrative support in an office environment.
• Excellent phone manner and communication skills via verbal and written methods.
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, coupled with acute attention to detail.
• Demonstrated computer literacy with proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
