We’re looking for a Learning & Organisational Development Partner to join our People & Culture team. Reporting to the Workforce Development Manager you will drive impactful learning and development strategies that build organisational capability, empower our people and support transformation and change initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, enjoys translating strategy into action, and wants to make a real difference in a mission-driven organisation.

About the Role:


As a trusted advisor to leaders and teams, you’ll play a critical role in designing, delivering, and embedding capability programs that lift leadership, technical excellence, and professional growth across the workforce. Work hand-in-hand with operational leaders, subject matter experts, and People & Culture colleagues to become a strategic enabler - aligning learning and development initiatives to fuel our organisational success.

Key Responsibilities:


- Identify and uplift capability and compliance needs in partnership with business leaders
- Drive leadership growth by developing and embedding frameworks into coaching and performance processes
- Design and facilitate high-impact learning programs across differing modalities that cater to diverse learner needs
- Collaborate on building workforce capability, progressing talent strategies, and fostering cultural transformation.

What We’re Looking For:


- Significant design experience - developing, implementing and evaluating learning and organisational development solutions across diverse business areas
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to build positive relationships and influence people from a broad range of environments and backgrounds
- Confident working with learning management systems; learning design authoring tool experience desirable
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing demands in a dynamic environment
- Tertiary qualification in organisational development, psychology, human resources or related field
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (or similar)
- Accreditation in organisational development or leadership diagnostics (e.g. Human Synergistics) highly regarded

The mission of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Western Operations) is to provide excellence in aeromedical and primary health care across Western Australia. Every member of the RFDS WO team contributes to that mission and living our values of showing respect, demonstrating fairness, utilising diversity and being safe.
