About this Opportunity
At the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) South Australia and Northern Territory, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As we continue to grow and strengthen our People & Culture function, we’re excited to expand our Organisational Development team — an evolving area dedicated to fostering leadership, engagement, and continuous learning across our diverse workforce.
This is one of two roles that presents a unique opportunity to build the foundations of a progressive, values-led OD and L&D function that supports our vision of a positive, high-performing, and inclusive culture.
This role is offered as a part-time position (0.6 FTE) on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
As the L&D Specialist, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations and development of our Learning and Development function — ensuring our people have access to engaging, high-quality learning experiences that enable growth and performance.
Specifically, you will:
• Manage and continuously improve our Learning Management System (LMS)
• Design, source, and maintain an engaging digital learning library
• Work with subject matter experts to deliver high-quality, relevant learning content
• Conduct training needs analyses and evaluate program effectiveness
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in learning delivery
This position suits someone with strong technical learning design skills and a passion for creating engaging and accessible learning experiences.
