About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Learning & Development Lead to play a pivotal role in strengthening organisational capability and learning governance across RFDS SA/NT.
Reporting to the Manager, Organisational Development, this role leads the Learning & Development (L&D) function, with responsibility for the Learning Management System (LMS), organisational training frameworks, and the design and delivery of high‑quality learning solutions that align with strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead and continuously improve the Learning Management System, ensuring functionality, governance, reporting and user experience
- Drive the implementation of a new LMS, working with key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Oversee mandatory training compliance, evaluation frameworks and learning governance
- Lead the development of a training needs matrix for the organisation to enable the development of training pathways and capability frameworks
- Design, source and curate high-quality digital, facilitated and blended learning solutions
- Partner with leaders and subject matter experts to deliver impactful, evidence-informed learning initiatives
- Facilitate learning programs and model contemporary adult learning principles
- Monitor learning effectiveness through data, insights and evaluation to drive continuous improvement
About You
You are a collaborative and values-driven learning professional with:
- Strong experience managing and improving Learning Management Systems in a medium to large organisation
- Sound knowledge of adult learning principles, digital learning design and inclusive learning practices
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders and translate business needs into effective learning solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience designing and delivering both digital and face-to-face learning programs
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Organisational Development, Human Resources, Education/Adult Learning, Psychology, IT or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent
- Experience in highly regulated environments, health or community services, and with Oracle LMS will be highly regarded.
