As a First Aid Responder with RFDS Victoria, your workplace is wherever the community gathers. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver first aid confidently and professionally
• Communicate effectively with patients, event staff, and emergency services
• Escalate care appropriately when patients are out of scope
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols
• Participate in ongoing training and competency updates

Required Qualifications:
Responder Level 2

• HLTAID 012 (provide emergency first aid in education care setting) or;
• HLTAID 013 (provide first aid in remote or isolated site) or;
• HLTAID 014 (provide advanced first aid) or;
• HLT 31120 (CERT 3 nonemergency transport) or;
• HLTSS 00068 (Occupational first aid skillset) and;
• 22578VIC (anaphylaxis) or equivalent and;
• PUAEME005 Provide pain management or equivalent
Responder Level 3

• Certificate IV in Health Care (HLT41120)
• Diploma of Emergency Health Care (HLT51020)
• Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) or equivalent

Additional Essential Eligibility Criteria:
• Full Victorian Driver’s License
• Available to attend a 2-day induction.
• Evidence of mandatory vaccinations: -
     - Proof of 3 Hep B vaccines and positive serology 
     - Proof of 2 Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccines
     - Proof of 2 Varicella vaccines or positive serology
     - Proof of 2025 Influenza vaccine
     - Proof of a DTP vaccine in the past 10 years
• Employee Working with Children Check
• Legal right to work in Australia
