As a First Aid Responder with RFDS Victoria, your workplace is wherever the community gathers. From buzzing festivals and high-energy sporting events to local celebrations under open skies, you’ll be right there.

We offer a Level 3 casual rate of $30.64 per hour, plus casual loading, penalty rates, and superannuation—with flexible shifts that fit your lifestyle. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values professionalism, safety, and community spirit.

Key Responsibilities:


- Deliver first aid confidently and professionally
- Communicate effectively with patients, event staff, and emergency services
- Escalate care appropriately when patients are out of scope
- Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols
- Participate in ongoing training and competency updates

Required Qualifications:


Responder Level 3


- Certificate IV in Health Care (HLT41120)
- Diploma of Emergency Health Care (HLT51020)
- Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) or equivalent

Additional Essential Eligibility Criteria:


- Full Victorian Driver’s License
- Available to commence on 14th October 2025
- Available to attend a 2-day induction in Essendon.
- Evidence of mandatory vaccinations:
  - Proof of X Hep B vaccines and positive serology
  - Proof of Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccines
  - Proof of 2 Varicella vaccines or positive serology
  - Proof of 2025 Influenza vaccine
  - Proof of a DTP vaccine in the past X years
- National Police Check & Employee Working with Children Check
- Legal right to work in Australia
