About this Opportunity
Working closely with the Employee Relations Manager, you will support a broad range of employee and industrial relations matters across a complex and diverse workforce. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in enterprise bargaining, award and enterprise agreement interpretation, workforce compliance and strategic workforce initiatives.
This role provides a supportive environment with strong mentoring, professional development and exposure to senior leaders.

Specifically, you will:
- Support enterprise bargaining negotiations, including preparing materials, conducting research and coordinating stakeholder engagement.
- Provide advice and guidance on awards, enterprise agreements, organisational policies and employment legislation.
- Assist with complex employee relations matters, including investigations and case management.
- Support underpayment reviews, audits and broader workforce compliance programs.
- Prepare correspondence, briefing papers and reports.
- Contribute to policy development and workforce governance initiatives.
- Partner with leaders to build capability and promote proactive people practices.
- Monitor emerging legislative and industrial developments and support organisational readiness.
About You
We welcome candidates from a range of professional backgrounds who bring strong critical thinking, communication and stakeholder engagement capability. You may currently be:
- An HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with strong ER exposure.
- An Employee Relations professional looking to broaden your experience.
- A workplace relations practitioner from government, healthcare or the not‑for‑profit sector.
- An employment lawyer seeking an in‑house role
Above all, you will demonstrate:
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
- Confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Interest in employee and industrial relations.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- A collaborative, proactive and solutions‑focused mindset.
