The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Tasmania is seeking an experienced Corporate Services Manager to lead and integrate the organisation’s corporate functions, enabling the delivery of high‑quality primary healthcare services across rural and regional Tasmania.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Corporate Services Manager is a pivotal member of the leadership team, responsible for ensuring the organisation’s corporate operations are efficient, compliant, and strategically aligned.
This is a broad and influential role with responsibility for oversight and integration of:
- Finance and financial reporting
- Fleet and asset management
- Corporate projects and compliance
- Risk management, governance and funding acquittals
- Information technology
You will play a critical role in strengthening systems and controls, driving continuous improvement, managing organisational risk, and ensuring corporate services effectively support frontline healthcare delivery.
The role is permanent and based in our Launceston Office. Travel may be required from time to time to attend meeting, workshops and RFDS's Hangar at Launceston Airport.
About You
You are a confident and values‑driven senior leader with strong financial and corporate services expertise, who thrives in complex, purpose‑led environments. You bring a collaborative leadership style, sound judgement, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.
Selection Criteria
The ideal candidate, will have:
- Senior leadership experience in not-for-profit in a Primary Health Care Organisation, or complex service environments
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with a focus on efficiency and value
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, improve systems, and manage risk
- Project Management experience
- A customer-centric mindset with a collaborative leadership style
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in effective oral and written communication in a formal business environment, with a focus on building and maintaining trust both within senior levels of the organisations and with key external stakeholders and partners.
- Demonstrated experience in meeting time-based deadlines, preferably within a policy driven and high compliance environment.
- Demonstrated ability to establish control measure for effective management of legal requirements of the RFDS Tas.
- Demonstrated ability to apply objective professional judgement, having regards to policies, procedures and organisational priorities.

What you will need
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance
- CA or CPA accreditation
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience leading multiple corporate or business support functions
- Senior leadership experience in a not‑for‑profit, primary health care or complex service environment
- Current driver’s licence
- National Police Check
- Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Tasmania)
