Contracts Manager
Join RFDS as our Contracts Manager and help shape a modern, best‑practice contract management function. You’ll take ownership of a diverse contract portfolio, bring consistency to how we manage risk and performance, and empower teams with clear frameworks and tools.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building capability, improving processes, and providing trusted contractual advice—while progressively expanding into renewals and future contract reviews as the function matures.
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Commerce or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience managing contracts across their full lifecycle within complex or regulated environments
- Strong understanding of contract governance, compliance and risk management
- Proven ability to establish frameworks, systems and processes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory capability
About the role
- Full Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee a portfolio of contracts from execution to close-out, maintaining frameworks, systems, records, and governance controls.
- Compliance, Risk & Performance Monitoring: Ensure legal and policy compliance, manage contractual risks, and track supplier/customer performance against KPIs and service levels.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Act as the primary contact for contract matters, building strong internal and external relationships while supporting stakeholders with obligations and best practices.
- Systems & Continuous Improvement: Develop and optimise contract management systems and processes, digitise records, and drive improvements in governance, efficiency, and future contracting practices.
- Commercial, Safety & Operational Support: Assist with variations, renewals and value-for-money considerations; model safety leadership; maintain consumer focus; and support operational excellence and budgeting.
