We’re seeking a skilled Clinical Quality Facilitator to champion clinical excellence, quality improvement, and maintain accreditation across our remote primary health care and dental services, including the newly established Goldfields Health Centre.

About the Role

As a key member of our Primary Health Care team, you'll lead quality improvement initiatives, support accreditation readiness, and work closely with clinical teams to embed safe, culturally responsive, and evidence-based practices across our services.
Please note: This role involves regular travel to regional sites.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead and evaluate quality improvement initiatives across primary and dental services
• Support NSQHS and RACGP/NGPS accreditation processes and documentation
• Facilitate evidence-based policies, workflows, and patient-centred improvements
• Monitor clinical performance, safety indicators, and service audits
• Support incident reviews, root cause analyses, and risk mitigation strategies
• Engage with ACCHOs, clinical staff, and external partners to enhance service quality
• Contribute to strategic planning and operational reporting


What We’re Looking For
Essential:

• Tertiary qualification in nursing, allied health, public health, or related field
• Extensive experience in primary healthcare quality improvement and accreditation
• Sound knowledge of NSQHS and RACGP/NGPS standards
• Understanding of implementation science and clinical governance frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to lead service improvement in regional or remote contexts
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with Aboriginal communities
• High-level analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills


Desirable:

• Experience with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations
• Understanding of dental services in a primary care context
• Training in clinical auditing, project management, or QI methodologies (e.g., Lean, PDSA)
