Business Analyst
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst to support innovation and change in the world's largest health network from within the PMO.
With a high-performance, collaborative mindset, this role reports directly to the Head of Projects and Change. It will be responsible for working with Project Managers and Business Leads to understand the goals and key measures for projects to consistently achieve required business outcomes.
Some of the previous and current projects delivered by the PMO include; upgrade of our current fleet, delivery and operationalisation of a Flight Training Device, upgrade of our finance and HR systems, delivery of the Goldfields Health Centre, transition to Medical Transport Specialists and delivery and operationalisation of a new contract with WA Country Health Services.

About You
- 2 - 5 years of experience undertaking business analysis within a large complex organisation, or a not-for-profit undergoing complex change and transformation.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders to determine requirements for a project and identify dependencies with other parts of the organisation.
- Attention to detail and ability to report accurately and succinctly, identifying and mitigating risks and issues early.
- Emotionally intelligent, adept at meshing your expertise with genuine listening and understanding the challenges and complexities that our teams face in delivering services.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with a diverse range of leaders and employees across the organisation.
- Flexibility, able to adapt at a fast pace when required.

About the role
This role is a critical member of the PMO within RFDS, performing the following functions to help drive business initiatives, aligned to strategy, from concept to successful delivery for the benefit of the organisation:
- Working with project teams, key stakeholders, and SMEs to understand current state business processes and technology solutions
- Developing structured and well-defined business requirements and processes.
- Translating complex business requirements into achievable solutions and options.
- Mapping current and future state processes to support achieving strategic objectives including, the ICT Strategic Roadmap and Strategic Direction.
- Supporting and inputting as required to the development of business cases, assisting with understanding current and desired future state is accurately depicted to enable clarity in scoping and support delivery of projects.
- Translating ICT and technical issues into business and plain language to ensure understanding of non-technical audiences.
- Preparing internal ICT test cases and UAT test cases, schedules and other artefacts to support internal testing and UAT as required.
- Participating in UAT for ICT projects as required.
