About the Role


The Branch Coordinator is a 12-month fixed term role focused on delivering proactive, high-quality administration of branch operations. You'll play a key part in ensuring everything runs smoothly and in alignment with RFDS policies and procedures

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:


- Coordinate linen, PPE, and consumables to maintain accurate inventory, secure storage, and timely ordering in line with RFDS policies.
- Support medication management by ensuring correct storage, usage, and disposal of medications and oxygen cylinders, in collaboration with the Medication Champion.
- Monitor vehicle and equipment compliance, including daily checks, defect reporting, repairs, fuel card placement, and tagging of faulty equipment.
- Oversee infection control measures such as cleaning programs, mop and linen storage, and safe handling of chemicals and clinical waste.
- Conduct audits, maintain documentation and signage, manage downtime duties, and ensure compliance with privacy and paperwork protocols.
- Act as a delegate for the Regional Manager, lead staff meetings, assist with training, and provide regular updates and reports on branch performance.

To be successful, you will need:

- Demonstrates strong communication, professionalism, and positive collaboration with colleagues at all times.
- Highly organised, deadline-driven, and motivated by achieving outcomes through effective prioritisation.
- Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a current Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia.
