About the Opportunity:

This role is responsible for the overall management of Clive Bishop Medical Centre. You will lead the delivery of administrative and clinical support services, manage financial and accounting processes, and ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements to support the smooth operation of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily practice operations, including scheduling, billing, financial processes, and occupational health & safety.
  • Lead financial management, including budgeting, PIP/WIP compliance, billing optimisation, reconciliations, and revenue reporting.
  • Manage implementation, training, and maintenance of practice software and technology, ensuring it meets operational needs and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation requirements, RACGP standards, infection control protocols, ISO systems, and cold chain management.
  • Coordinate GP and Registrar training, accreditation, placements, and onboarding.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives, service innovation, and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Lead and support clinical and administrative teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and day-to-day oversight.
  • Manage ordering, stock control, dangerous goods, vaccines, consumables, and equipment maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders including communities, practice staff, GPs, and funding bodies.
  • Address patient needs, feedback, and complaints to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Resolve operational issues promptly and ensure effective systems and processes are in place.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold all practice policies and regulatory requirements.

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare office management
  • Strong financial and accounting capability
  • High-level organisational, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Knowledge of accreditation processes and healthcare systems
  • Ability to manage complex services across dispersed environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and electronic medical record systems
