We are currently seeking a B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our tightknit Engineering team based in Jandakot. Reporting to the Senior Engineer, this full-time role works Monday to Friday and will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance on aircraft and equipment in accordance with RFDS manuals and procedures.

About you

You will be technically-minded and creative in your approach to work and finding solutions to issues. While working in a small team, you will be able to interpret and analyse complicated information and put your findings into practice. You will also possess a Certificate IV in Mechanical Aeroskills.

About the role

Working under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME), you will dismantle, inspect, test, repair and reassemble aircraft engines, and subassemblies of aircraft frames
Assemble parts and subassemblies of aircraft frames
Replace and testing aircraft oxygen system components
Overall, maintain aircraft and carrying out regular inspections
Maintain records of action taken


Permanent, full-time role
