About the Role


Step into a dynamic role where you’ll deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients during transport, supporting a wide range of medical needs. As a valued representative of RFDS, you’ll build trusted relationships and make a meaningful impact with every journey.

Key Responsibilities:


- Deliver safe, patient-centred care during transport, performing assessments and interventions in line with RFDS policies and within your clinical scope.

- Maintain professional communication and documentation, ensuring accurate handovers, clear records, and coordination with dispatch and healthcare teams.

- Act as a mentor and team player, supporting junior staff and collaborating effectively while making confident decisions in patient care.

- Uphold safety and compliance standards, including infection control, manual handling, and vehicle readiness, while maintaining clinical registration and ongoing education.

- Contribute to service excellence, engaging in quality assurance, incident reporting, and efficient use of resources to continuously improve patient outcomes.

What We’re Looking For


- Bachelor of Nursing (with AHPRA registered nurse registration)
- Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence
- NEPT experience is a plus, but not essential
