Aircraft Maintenance Planner & Technical Records Officer
- Play a key role supporting RFDS WA’s mission-critical aeromedical aircraft fleet
- Coordinate maintenance planning across a fast-paced and highly regulated aviation operation

About the team
The RFDS WA Engineering team supports safe, compliant and efficient aeromedical operations across one of the largest and most remote aviation jurisdictions in the world. Working collaboratively across Engineering, Flight Operations, Logistics and Safety, the team plays a critical role in maintaining aircraft availability and operational readiness to support frontline patient care.
About the role
- Develop and manage short, medium and long-term maintenance schedules across the RFDS WA fleet
- Process aircraft maintenance records, create log book entries & other administrative duties as required.
- Coordinate routine, preventative and corrective maintenance activities to maximise aircraft availability and operational efficiency
- Monitor maintenance forecasts, inspections, component life limits and airworthiness requirements
- Liaise daily with Engineering, Flight Operations, Supply Chain and external maintenance providers to coordinate maintenance priorities and aircraft downtime
About you
- Interest in aircraft maintenance planning, scheduling, maintenance control or aviation maintenance administration
- Experience using aviation maintenance management systems and electronic maintenance records (preferred but not essential)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic operational environment
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
