About this Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Senior Base Engineer, as the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you will support the provision of maintenance to our aircraft fleet in accordance with the RFDS SA/NT maintenance related procedures and practices. Working in a challenging and rewarding environment, our engineering team plays a pivotal role in enabling the delivery of vital aeromedical services to rural and remote locations.
Specifically, you will:
• Provide maintenance support to ensure aircraft availability to meet contract requirements.
• Maintain compliant aircraft records including WinAir records.
• Comply with and work within Engineering systems and processes as specified in the RFDS Maintenance Organisation Manual.
• Comply with the requirements of the Systems of Maintenance and Maintenance Control Manual.
• Ensure aircraft are always clean and presentable.
About You
You are:
• Able to determine priorities and achieve deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Able to utilise strong problem-solving abilities.
• Driven and able to use initiative.
• Equipped with basic computer skills.
To be considered for the role you require:
• Experience in aircraft maintenance and Cert IV in Aero skills Mechanical or Avionics
• A current Australian driver’s licence.
