Apprenticeship – 2 x Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)
Do you love mechanics or engineering? Fascinated by aircraft? Ready to launch an exciting career in aviation? The Royal Flying Doctor Service (South Eastern Section) is looking for passionate, hands-on individuals to join our team as an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineerwith our Broken Hill base.
This is your chance to work with a fleet of 15 Beechcraft King Air B200 & B300 aircraft and play a vital role in keeping our aeromedical missions flying across New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.

What We’re Looking For:
- Year 10 / School Certificate level or higher with passes in Maths, Science, and English.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and IT skills.
- A genuine passion for aviation and willingness to learn.
- Current drivers licence and ability to travel for TAFE block release.
Start Date: Early 2026 (flexible for the right candidate).
Hours: Monday–Friday, with potential for shift work and overtime in the second and subsequent years of the apprenticeship.
