About this Opportunity
As an IT Service Desk and Support Technician, you will be driven to deliver customer-focused IT services to RFDS SA/NT staff. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will provide efficient and responsive service desk IT support, addressing IT and equipment-related issues in person, over the phone, and remotely. Your role will also involve maintaining the network, equipment, and software, while continually identifying opportunities to enhance technical support procedures and improve overall service delivery for RFDS SA/NT.

Specifically, you will:
• Provide timely service desk support for IT issues to all employees across multiple locations.
• Log, troubleshoot, and resolve IT support issues within assigned access levels, accurately documenting outcomes and escalating unresolved matters as required to support reporting, trend analysis, and seamless customer service.
• Maintain computers, networks, and IT resources efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Manage telecommunications (mobile phone replacements) and electronic infrastructure (printers, copiers, end user devices), ensuring minimal downtime, and support regional IT champions and equipment during site visits.
About You
You are:
• Customer-focused with excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
To be considered for the role you require:
• Minimum Certificate or Diploma level qualification in Computer or Information Technology discipline.
• 1+ years’ experience in IT support, including network services, Windows/iOS devices, and remote desktop in a WAN environment.
• Strong hardware installation and basic fault-finding skills, with experience in managing small IT projects.
