About this Opportunity
Manager, Operations Projects, leads a team of project professionals responsible for delivering a portfolio of initiatives aligned to the organisation’s strategic priorities. The Operations Projects Team delivers strategic projects and operational improvement initiatives that create meaningful benefits for our patients, communities and workforce.

Key responsibilities include:
• Collaboration with stakeholders utilising a people-centred approach to ensure projects deliver practical, measurable value.
• Actively participate in the implementation and ongoing assessment of the strategic priorities of the organisation to ensure continual strategic alignment of the Operational Projects Portfolio.
• Maintain a fit-for-purpose project delivery framework, based on contemporary best practice frameworks and standards.
• Provide high-quality, objective, portfolio delivery, risk and financial performance reporting.
• Lead, mentor and support a team of project professionals, fostering a collaborative, accountable and high-performance culture that enables effective delivery of the project portfolio.
• Manage and measure both internal and external customer/stakeholder satisfaction with a continuous improvement focus.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Proven track record in developing and maintaining collaborative, constructive and credible relationships with a wide cross-section of stakeholders (internal and external).
• Demonstrated experience in the management of a portfolio of projects that are complex, high-risk or politically sensitive.
• Significant recent project and program delivery experience, within a healthcare, emergency service or similar environment.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and achieve support for change in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment.
Experience in project delivery across multiple disciplines, including business improvement, construction and fit-out, engineering and information technology is desirable.
