About this Opportunity
RFDS SA/NT are seeking an experienced HCMS Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new Human Capital Management System across the organisation.This role will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle—from planning and system design through to configuration, testing, go-live and transition to business-as-usual operations. The successful candidate will ensure the project is well governed, delivered on time and within budget, and achieves the intended organisational outcomes. Working closely with internal stakeholders, RFDS IT, subject matter experts and the system vendor, you will ensure the new platform is operationally effective, scalable and supports the organisation’s workforce management needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, governance and delivery of the HCMS implementation.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budget, reporting and risk management.
- Work with the system vendor and internal teams to design, configure, test and deploy the system.
- Manage data migration, system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Develop and implement a structured change management and communication plan.
- Engage stakeholders across the organisation and support training and adoption.
- Define success measures and KPIs, and support transition to business-as-usual operations.
About You
You are an experienced project leader with a strong track record delivering enterprise HR system implementations in complex environments.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience leading HCMS or enterprise HR technology implementations
- Strong understanding of HR functions including payroll, workforce data, talent and learning systems
- Proven project management capability, including governance, budgeting and stakeholder management
- Strong communication, problem-solving and change management skills
- Ability to work effectively with senior leaders, vendors and cross-functional teams
Desirable
- Experience implementing Oracle HCM
- Experience delivering organisational transformation or technology change programs
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, HR, IT or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Formal project management training or certification (PRINCE2, PMP or similar) desirable
