About this Opportunity



Reporting directly to the Stakeholder Relations Manager, as the Content Specialist, you will be motivated to coordinate the planning, production and delivery of content across digital, print and internal/external channels in line with RFDS brand and communication priorities.


We believe our people – all of our people – keep the Royal Flying Doctor Service flying.



Specifically, you will:


- Coordinate engaging content for digital channels including website, social media, EDMs and paid digital platforms.
- Work closely with operational areas to source and produce compelling content and copy.
- Build collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current with marketing/communications content trends and best practices to ensure materials remain modern, accessible and effective.
- Support the development and execution of marketing and communications campaigns, including fundraising, health promotion, patient experience and advocacy initiatives.

About You



You have:


- Demonstrated experience in crafting persuasive and engaging copy to deadline and brand specification.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of website CMS, EDM platforms, CRMs, social media channels and scheduling tools, analytics platforms, and design software i.e. Adobe Creative Suite.
- Adept professional writing skills and strong understanding of style, grammar and punctuation.




To be considered for the role you require:


- Minimum three years’ experience in a journalism, communications or marketing role.
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or Media/Journalism.
