About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Director, SA the Clinical Manager, Remote Area Clinics is accountable for first line leadership and management of a safe and quality nursing service for RFDS SA/NT remote area clinics in South Australia (Andamooka, Marla, Marree and Innamincka). The Clinical Manager will be responsible for clinical service delivery including primary health care (chronic disease management, episodic care assessments and presentations) and emergency services, including ambulance emergency response.
Specifically, you will:
- Lead a high performing clinical team contributing to building improved health status in their local communities focusing on health promotion, prevention, and early intervention.
- Ensure the provision of safe, quality and culturally appropriate nursing service at all times.
- Lead the development, implementation, and supervision of Quality Improvement initiatives.
- Build collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
You will have demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and coaching nursing professionals, your strength lies in your ability to build a cohesive and high performing team with shared purpose.
To be considered for the role, you will require:
- AHPRA registration as a General Nurse and hold a current practising certificate.
- Experience in applying quality management systems in a health care setting.
- General Practice, Primary Health, Remote or Community Health Nursing experience.
