About this Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager, Contracts, Performance & Business Development as the Manager, Business Development & Contracts, you will be motivated to identify and engage new business opportunities and grants, wholistically expanding RFDS SA/NT’s market presence. You will ensure all tenders, bids and contracts strengthen the RFDS mission and provide strategic oversight of business opportunities. You will lead a team of contract managers to ensure compliance, value and sustainable partnerships are maintained with government, health authorities and corporate clients.

Specifically, you will:
-Lead, motivate and guide the Contract Manager team
-Analyse, develop, manage and report on business development activities
-Manage tenders and customer contracts
-Financial and risk management
About You
You have:
-High levels of business acumen, business analysis and financial management experience
-Experience in contract management, governance, tender and bid development
-Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management and project management
-Creative, innovative thinking, with strong lateral and strategic thinking skills
-Interpersonal qualities such as patience, respect for individual needs, and adaptability
To be considered for the role you require:
-Tertiary Qualifications in commerce, business or related fields (essential)
-A background in aviation and or health related services (desirable)
