Supporter Engagement Specialist - Full Time

Using the latest in aviation, medical and communications technology, we deliver extensive health care and 24-hour emergency service to those who live in and travel through remote, rural and regional Australia.
We are offering you a newly created and exciting opportunity to join the Royal Flying Doctor Service (South Eastern Section) (RFDSSE) as our Supporter Engagement Specialist to help increase supporter engagement and maximise fundraising outcomes through donor-centric, multi-channel content. This is a permanent full-time role and will be based from our office in Surry Hills.
In this role, you will:
- Drive supporter retention and revenue growth through compelling engagement strategies
- Lead the development and delivery of a profitable supporter newsletter and other supporter communications across multiple channels
- Coordinate fundraising content in partnership with our Corporate Affairs team, Editorial Committee and Service teams
- Design, test, implement and evaluate supporter journeys In collaboration with the wider Fundraising team, to meet retention and income targets
What you’ll bring:
- Relevant experience in marketing, communications or fundraising
- Hands-on experience in the preparation and delivery of direct mail and digital campaigns
- A deep understanding of target audiences and supporter journeys
- Copywriting, proofreading and editing skills, with a focus on fundraising effectiveness
