Description
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) relies on fundraising, donations and corporate partnerships to deliver our life-saving services and to fund new aircraft, equipment and infrastructure. With demand for our services increasing each year, the Fundraising & Philanthropy team continues to play a critical role in RFDS’s endeavour to improve health outcomes for those who live, work and travel in rural and remote communities throughout Queensland.

The Role:
The Partnership Specialist increases corporate giving by managing the ongoing development, retention, and stewardship of a portfolio of corporate and community partners through mutually beneficial partnerships and effective day-to-day management.
The role also involves identifying, attracting, and securing new meaningful partnerships that have a positive social impact, in line with the partnership growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture a portfolio of corporate and community partners, ensuring delivery of partnership commitments while maximising income, engagement, and long-term value
- Plan and execute partnership activities and campaigns, identifying creative opportunities to enhance partner involvement and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes
- Collaborate across teams to ensure partnership initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with agreements and stakeholder expectations
- Oversee workplace giving, sponsorships, and in-kind support, ensuring alignment with organisational needs and community impact
- Maintain accurate supporter records in our CRM and deliver high-quality reporting and acquittals, support transparency, stewardship, and strategic decision-making
- Contribute to partnership growth through research, due diligence, budget planning, proposal development, and the cultivation of new corporate prospects.
- Exceptional oral, written communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience in developing strong, value-based relationships with stakeholders and supporters
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in securing and developing new corporate partnerships, supporting revenue growth
- Strong project management and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands
- High degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
