Description

Join the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) (Queensland Section) in a casual role supporting vital digital health initiatives. We’re seeking a proactive Digital Health Support Specialist to assist our Digital Health and Health Information Management (HIM) teams in maintaining and enhancing clinical systems and applications. 
  
In this dynamic role, you’ll provide specialist support across key areas including system administration, PRODA access, privacy functions, performance monitoring, and user training.
  
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage support tickets for bespoke digital health applications (e.g. merging patient records, unlocking tasks, liaising with NAS)
  • Maintain PRODA memberships across RFDS (Queensland) bases and escalate issues as needed
  • Assist with privacy and HIM tasks as directed by the Health Information Manager
  • Support secure messaging setup, software troubleshooting, and system integrations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver reliable and secure digital health services
What You’ll Bring
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in digital health or IT support
  • Familiarity with PRODA and Services Australia systems
  • Strong understanding of clinical applications and general IT principles
  • Knowledge of privacy legislation and health information management practices
  • Advanced skills in JIRA ticket management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams
  • Experience working with development teams and software life cycles
