The Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) is looking for a highly experienced, self-motivated, and engaging individual to join the Digital and Technology team in the role of a Functional Analyst, internally known as the Clinical Systems Administrator. 

The Clinical Systems Administrator will be collaborating with end-users, vendors and internal stakeholders to assist with the functional support of the RFDS business critical clinical systems. 

In this role, your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Assist with configuration and refinement of system functionality to align with revised business processes 
  • Liaise with SME’s, technical teams, and the vendor to resolve functional queries and support delivery outcomes 
  • Provide input into new system features and how that can be embedded to improve our system functionality 
  • Translate functional changes into meaningful guidance for end-users  
  • Support the peer review of all changes, and follow best practice guidelines to implement changes. 
This is a permanent, full-time role based in Brisbane. There are two (2) positions available. Digital & Technology offers hybrid working arrangements with a mixture of home and office work, as well as regular team days. 

Who are we looking for? 
  • A skilled communicator and collaborator, able to engage with diverse stakeholders 
  • Complex problem-solving skills and ability to explain technical issues and solutions in simple easy to understand language  
  • 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting clinical or other business systems 
  • Proficient in supporting clinical systems SQL databases and industry-standard messaging technologies (Preferred) 
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience
