As the CRM Product Owner for the Fundraising & Philanthropy team, you’ll be the key relationship link between fundraising, digital and technology teams, and external vendors - leading the CRM’s development and guiding the team through change to enable smarter fundraising, seamless supporter journeys, and data-driven decisions.
Your strong communication and change management skills will be essential as you take the team on this journey, fostering collaboration and ensuring smooth adoption throughout the Integrated CRM Project - from requirements gathering and backlog management to user acceptance testing and rollout.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage the CRM roadmap to align with fundraising strategy and supporter experience goals
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions
- Lead agile ceremonies, manage backlogs, and ensure timely and effective feature delivery
- Drive CRM adoption, training, and change management across Fundraising & Philanthropy teams
- Maintain data integrity, oversee integrations, and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
- Serve as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and external CRM vendors and partners
- Continuously monitor CRM performance and identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and innovation
- Ensure CRM features and workflows support best-in-class donor engagement and fundraising outcomes
- Proven track record in leading or supporting CRM migrations or implementations, including requirements gathering, backlog management, feature prioritisation, and change management.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge business and technical teams, driving a user-centric design and continuous platform improvement.
- 5–7 years’ experience as a Salesforce Product Owner or similar, with hands-on expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Nonprofit Cloud.
- Strong understanding of fundraising, donor management, digital engagement, and the ability to align CRM capabilities with evolving business needs.
- Systems-thinking mindset with knowledge of data privacy/compliance and a willingness to explore AI and emerging technologies to enhance fundraising and supporter engagement.
