The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is one of the world’s largest and most respected aeromedical organisations. In Queensland, we deliver essential primary healthcare and emergency aeromedical services to more than 330,000 Australians each year—one person every two minutes! Our commitment goes beyond emergency retrievals; we provide vital telehealth, mental health, oral health, and health promotion services, providing the finest care to the furthest corners.
 
We’re excited to introduce a newly created role of Business Performance Analyst within our Corporate Services team. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working closely with key leaders across aviation, engineering, nursing, and medical teams to deliver insights that drive positive business outcomes.
 
In this role, you will: 

  • Collaborate across the organisation to support leaders and employees in maximising the delivery of quality service within RFDS funding. 
  • Support ethical leadership and promote corporate social responsibility. 
  • Foster teamwork and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Develop and manage reporting and processes to optimise aircraft, crew, and clinic operations, including budgeting and cost control. 
  • Assist in developing Enterprise Data Warehouse financial reporting for operational decisions. 
  • Prepare and deliver key operational, performance, and financial reports to support leadership and strategic decision-making. 
  • Ensure quality, reliability, alignment, and cost-effectiveness when engaging external resources. 
This is a full-time, 12-month contract offering hybrid working arrangements and the chance to be part of an organisation that truly makes a difference. 
  
Who are we looking for? 
  • A skilled communicator and collaborator, able to engage with diverse stakeholders and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. 
  • Commercially savvy, with experience in finance or business analysis in complex organisations. 
  • Proficient in KPI reporting and data tools such as Excel, PowerBI, and SQL Server. 
  • Analytical, solution-focused, and adaptable, with a strong ethical compass and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
