Description

Are you a detail-oriented problem solver with a knack for systems and a passion for supporting people and technology? If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this 6-month max term role could be the perfect fit for you.
  
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Systems Support Officer (internally known as People Systems Support Officer) to join the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) (Queensland) Dayforce Project team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the HRIS & Payroll Lead to ensure the smooth operation of our new HRIS platform, Dayforce. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the health of the system, managing escalations, and supporting the transition to production.
  
Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the Dayforce inbox, respond to queries, and provide advice on system use and procedures
  • Assist with HRIS security access and user maintenance
  • Support data migration between payroll systems (Chris21) and Dayforce
  • Participate in transition-to-production activities
  • Maintain data integrity through regular audits and database updates
  • Assist in developing knowledge articles and procedure documentation
About you:
You’ll bring proven experience as an administrator with a strong grasp of HR systems and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality support. Your well-developed organisational and analytical skills are complemented by clear communication and a collaborative approach, enabling you to help others confidently navigate digital tools and processes.
  • Proven experience using HRIS platforms (Dayforce experience highly regarded)
  • Demonstrated ability to support and troubleshoot technology systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with people data reporting and analysis
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
