Vale Professor The Honourable Dame Marie Bashir
The Royal Flying Doctor Service is deeply saddened by the passing of Dame Marie Bashir. Dame Marie Bashir served as joint Patron of the RFDS South Eastern Section with her husband, the late Sir Nicholas Shehadie, during her term as Governor of New South Wales from 2001 to 2014.

Critical care for a genetic heart condition
Tash Yeo’s concerned friend urged her to get a check-up at their local hospital when he noticed her heart was racing and she was out of breath.
It is a phone call that nobody EVER wants to receive.
"I could hear my younger children screaming and crying in the background on the phone because their mum was shaking and wouldn't wake up. They were petrified," said Andrew, Taya's husband.
