RFDS scholarship supports rural health students
RFDS Victoria is supporting regional students studying nursing or allied health by offering four Give Them Wings scholarships. As well as $3,000 towards study expenses, the scholarship includes a day with one of our health care or patient transport teams to build hands on experience.

Allan’s eyesight isn’t what it used to be, which had made it impossible for the Heathcote local and his wife Pat to attend medical appointments in Bendigo, 50km away. Thankfully, Flying Doctor Community Transport can help people like Pat Allan get to vital medical appointments.

For the seventh consecutive year, RFDS Victoria sent a team to join in the fun at the annual Variety Kids’ Xmas Party. “It’s always a pleasure to be a part of this fantastic event which brings the joy of Christmas to kids in need,” said RFDS Victoria Education Manager, Tom Ryan.
