The RFDS Goldfields Health Centre supported by Northern Star Resources has officially opened at 158 Egan Street Kalgoorlie, delivering much needed general practitioner services to the Goldfields community.

Made possible with support from Northern Star Resources and Curtin University through the Goldfields University Department of Rural Health, the new GP clinic is open to all local residents and will provide high-quality, accessible and patient-centred care.
RFDS WA CEO Judith Barker ASM said opening a new GP clinic in Kalgoorlie is a significant step forward in improving access to GP services for the Goldfields community.

“The RFDS will always be there for the Goldfields community in the air, and from today we are proud to complement existing local GP clinics by expanding access to care and supporting the broader health system,” Judith said.
Northern Star Resources General Manager, Kalgoorlie Operations Corin Arcaro said Northern Star is proud to support the RFDS to bring essential, local healthcare to the Goldfields.

“At Northern Star, we’re committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen the health and resilience of our region. This clinic will make a lasting difference for families across Kalgoorlie-Boulder, and we’re proud to be part of its story,” Corin said
The RFDS Goldfields Health Centre will also serve as a training hub for allied health students, providing regional placements through the Goldfields University Department of Rural Health. Students will gain hands-on experience working alongside RFDS GPs and nurses to deliver holistic, community-based care.
