Prior to attending your orientation, we would like you to familiarise yourself with the information below, particularly the forms that you may need to complete on your orientation day.
The RFDS (Central Operations) has a range of benefits that you can take advantage of as an employee.
The RFDS (Central Operations) understands the importance of superannuation and assists employees to plan for their future through our superannuation scheme. Of course, employees may choose to have their superannuation directed to their own existing super funds, or alternatively RFDS have their own superannuation fund managed by AMP. AMP Superannuation Information Category 5 Staff (Pilots)
The RFDS (Central Operations), due to their current taxation status are able to offer an attractive salary packing service to its staff. Community Business Bureau (CBB) has been appointed by the RFDS (Central Operations) to manage the administration service for salary packaging. The Salary Packaging policy and further information regarding CBB can be found below. If you are eligible and elect to commence salary packaging please contact CBB on 1300 763 505.

Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, confidential and voluntary counselling service provided as a resource to RFDS employees and their immediate family. Its aim is to assist with the resolution of personal and work related problems which may affect their work performance or quality of life. Further information about this can be found below.
Learning Management System - LAAMP
LAAMP is available to use for all staff as a learning resource and is available to download as a Mobile App and can be used on Desktop.

Cultural Protocols Guide
The RFDS (Central Operations) have a number of Policies contained in our Suite of Manuals, and HR Policies contained in the HR Policies Employee Manual. Please speak to P&C when you begin to access and download Policies and Procedures relevant to your role. Below are some Policies you should familiarise yourself with upon commencing employment with the RFDS (Central Operations). We suggest you read these before your orientation day and we encourage you to ask any questions on the day.
