Schools Program
We’re excited to invite schools from around Western Australia to take part in the first-ever RFDS WA Schools Program, proudly supported by CBH Group.
This new initiative gives students a fun and meaningful way to learn about the Royal Flying Doctor Service’s vital work in regional and remote Western Australia, while participating in Flying Doctor Day 2026 activities.
About the RFDS WA Schools Program
This curriculum-linked program helps students explore life in the bush, learn about the RFDS and its history through engaging STEM, health and problem-solving activities, all designed to be easy for teachers to implement.
Participating schools will receive a Support Pack which includes:
- Fun, curriculum-linked classroom activity ideas and resources, tailored for primary year levels
- Paper plane challenge instructions and templates
- Easy fundraising ideas and tips
- Support from our dedicated RFDS fundraising team
- Student-friendly RFDS history and facts
To add to the fun, schools that host a fundraising activity ahead of Flying Doctor Day will automatically be entered in the draw to win some fantastic RFDS prizes and experiences. Registration is free!
Support Packs will be emailed to registered schools and will provide materials leading up to our Flying Doctor Day campaign in May.
Every fundraising effort, big or small, helps the RFDS WA deliver emergency retrievals, primary health clinics, telehealth services, medical chests and life saving care across Western Australia. Your students won’t just be learning, they’ll be part of something that truly helps others.
