2025 Annual General Meeting

The RFDS SA/NT held its 89th Annual General Meeting in Port Lincoln in October, gathering community members, donors, partners, and supporters from across the Eyre Peninsula.

A highlight of the event was the panel discussion, 'Links in the Health Chain', featuring RFDS Deputy Flight Nurse Manager Karen McBain, SA Ambulance Service's Matt Callaway, Port Lincoln Hospital’s Rayann Semmens, and local Eyre Peninsula mum Mandy Hosking. Together, they shared insight on the vital collaboration between regional and metropolitan health services when patients – like Mandy’s baby son Xavier - require emergency transfer to Adelaide.

During the AGM, directors Professor Paul Worley, Vicki O’Halloran AO CVO, and Geoff Roberts were re-elected for another three-year term. We thank them for their ongoing leadership and service.

We’re especially grateful to our volunteer Board Directors, the RFDS Port Lincoln Auxiliary, our health, corporate and community partners, local businesses who supported the event, and everyone who joined us on the day.

For the third-year running, we held our AGM in a regional community we serve – a meaningful way to stay connected with those at the heart of what we do.

On average, the RFDS lands on the Eyre Peninsula three times a day, including daily flights to Port Lincoln – each one a lifeline for someone in need of urgent care.
